Accessibility
BAEZ is committed to making our website and our iOS app accessible and easy to use for everyone.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA on our website, and to follow Apple's accessibility guidelines in our iOS app. This is an ongoing commitment, not something we check once.
What is already in place
On our website
- Pages can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on links and buttons.
- Product images include alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text can be enlarged with your browser's zoom without the layout breaking.
- The site is available in Spanish and English.
In the BAEZ app
- Buttons, icons and images have VoiceOver labels.
- Text follows your iPhone's text size setting (Dynamic Type).
- Animations are reduced when Reduce Motion is on, and videos show a still image instead of playing.
- The app uses high-contrast white text on black, and color is never the only way information is shown.
- Buttons and controls have touch areas of at least 44 points.
- The app works fully in Spanish and English.
- You can ask questions by voice in Ask BAEZ, and use Siri to check the next drop, track an order or open parts of the app.
Where we are still improving
- We are still reviewing some pages and screens for full support of the largest text sizes.
- Checkout is provided by Shopify, and package tracking pages belong to the shipping carriers. While we do not control these third parties, we strongly encourage them to provide content that is accessible and user friendly.
Tell us if something does not work
If you are having difficulty viewing or navigating the content on our website or in our app, or notice any content, feature or functionality that you believe is not fully accessible to people with disabilities, please email us at access@baezonline.com with "Accessibility Request" in the subject line. Include a description of the specific feature you feel is not fully accessible, or a suggestion for improvement.
We take your feedback seriously and will consider it as we evaluate ways to accommodate all of our customers and our overall accessibility policies.
